Server Regulations

These regulations apply throughout the Vertx community server and to direct messages between its members. They form part of the Vertx Terms of Service.

#Article 1 – Conduct

1.1Treat every member with respect. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech and personal attacks are not permitted.

1.2Keep disagreements civil and on topic. Starting or prolonging conflicts is not permitted.

#Article 2 – Content Standards

2.1All content, including images, links, profiles and statuses, must be appropriate for a professional setting.

2.2Threatening, sexually explicit, violent or illegal content, and content that promotes self-harm, is strictly prohibited.

#Article 3 – Privacy and Security

3.1Do not share anyone's personal information or private conversations without their consent.

3.2Scams, phishing and malicious files are prohibited. Staff will never ask for your password.

#Article 4 – Channel Use

4.1Use each channel only for its intended purpose.

4.2For support, open a ticket in the support channel or ask Vex in the ai-help channel.

#Article 5 – Spam and Mentions

5.1Repeated messages and excessive attachments, emojis or capital letters count as spam.

5.2Do not mass-mention members or mention staff without a valid reason.

#Article 6 – Reports and Feedback

6.1Report bugs through a ticket, including the steps to reproduce them, the expected result and your device.

6.2Share suggestions constructively in the suggestions channel.

#Article 7 – Identity

7.1Do not impersonate Vertx staff, the development team or other members.

7.2Usernames, avatars, banners and statuses must remain appropriate.

#Article 8 – Advertising

8.1Self-promotion is permitted only in the self-promo channel.

8.2Unsolicited advertising or invitations sent by direct message are not permitted.

#Article 9 – Voice Channels

9.1Avoid disruptive audio, such as shouting, soundboards or loud background noise.

9.2Do not record anyone without their explicit consent.

#Article 10 – Bots and AI

10.1Self-bots and unauthorised automated accounts are prohibited. Use bot commands in the bot-commands channel.

10.2Do not misuse Vex or try to make it break these regulations.

#Article 11 – Giveaways and Events

11.1Entering with alternate accounts or by any deceptive means is not permitted.

11.2Official giveaways take place only in the giveaways channel.

#Article 12 – Account Integrity

12.1Alternate accounts may not be used to get around rules, limits or sanctions.

12.2Evading a timeout, removal or ban will result in a permanent ban.

#Article 13 – Enforcement and Appeals

13.1Follow all staff instructions. Staff may act on harmful conduct even where it is not listed here.

13.2Decisions may be contested only through a support ticket, not in public channels.

#Article 14 – Discord Policies

14.1All members must follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

14.2Breaches of Discord policies may be reported to Discord in addition to any action we take.

#Article 15 – Legal Compliance

15.1This server may not be used for any activity that is illegal under applicable law.

15.2Each member is responsible for following the laws of their own country or region.
