About

The team behind Vex, and answers to common questions.

The Vertx Team

Hey, we're the people behind Vex.

Vertx is a small independent project. We build Vex, a support bot that keeps tickets, answers and logs in one place, and this website and dashboard so you can set it up without copying a single ID.

1

Simple to set up

Log in with Discord and pick everything from lists. No IDs, no commands to memorise.

2

Clear about money

Vex is free while it's in development. If that ever changes it's announced first, and nobody is charged without agreeing.

3

Every change is traceable

Dashboard changes and key support events get their own Event ID, so your team can see who changed what.

Frequently asked questions

What is Vex?

Vex is a multi-purpose support bot for Discord. It runs guided tickets, answers common questions instantly and keeps everything organised for your support team.

Who is working on Vex?

Vex is made by the Vertx Team, a small independent project based in Uruguay.

Is Vex free?

Yes. Vex is free while it's in development and there are no paid plans. If that ever changes, it will be announced first, and you'll never be charged without agreeing.

Can I add Vex to my server?

Yes. Press Add to Discord, choose a server where you have the Manage Server permission, then open the dashboard to set Vex up.

Do I need to copy any IDs?

No. Log in to the dashboard with Discord, choose your server and pick channels, categories and roles from lists. Vex posts the panel for you.

What can the dashboard see?

Only your Discord username, avatar and the list of servers you're in. It never sees your password or your messages. Settings can only be changed by people with the Manage Server permission, or with a role the server allows in Team and access.

What data does Vex keep?

Vex keeps what it needs to run tickets, such as ticket messages, transcripts and logs. The Privacy Policy explains what is kept and for how long.

Is there a paid version?

Vertx Premium is coming soon. It's still being planned, and everything available today stays free. Nobody is ever charged without agreeing.

How do I report a bug?

Open a ticket in the Vertx Support Server and choose Bug Report. Include what happened and, if you can, a screenshot.
